Network Engineer (Telco) – Network Automation & Orchestration
We are looking for a Medior/Senior Network Engineer with Service Provider / Telco experience to support CxO (Codaxy Orchestrator) delivery projects. You will act as a network SME (Subject Matter Expert) and work closely with developers to implement and validate network automation and service orchestration solutions for telecom operators.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as Network SME in CxO delivery projects for telco customers.
- Translate network/service requirements into automation-ready designs (service models, templates, parameters, workflows).
- Support developers with domain expertise across IP networks, VPNs, and IP/MPLS concepts.
- Validate orchestration workflows (provisioning, activation, rollback) and configuration outputs.
- Support testing, troubleshooting, documentation, and operational handover.
Required Experience & Skills
- 2–8+ years network engineering experience in telco/service provider environments.
- Strong knowledge of routing/switching and service concepts (VLAN/VxLAN/QinQ, VRF, BGP/OSPF, MPLS/VPN fundamentals).
- Understanding of telco operational and production processes.
- Understanding of passive and active network infrastructure.
- Interest in network automation and structured configuration approaches, including JSON/YAML/templates, NETCONF/YANG, gNMI, REST APIs.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally with engineering, delivery, and customer teams.
Nice to Have (Big Plus)
- TM Forum knowledge (Open APIs, ODA/SID concepts).
- DevOps/cloud-native exposure: Git, CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes.
- Understanding of microservices architecture and API-based integrations.
- Understanding of Docsis or PON access networks.
- Multi-vendor experience (e.g., Nokia, Cisco, Huawei, Juniper, Palo Alto, Check Point).
